This is a highly detailed print of the popular Pokemon 'Scyther' which is brought to life in a realistic way by the artist Joshua Dunlop as part of his Pokemon Zoology series.
 
Using a 3D program called 'Zbrush', the model is sculpted and then digitally painted. It's then taken into a rendering program called 'Keyshot' were realistic textures and naturalistic lighting is applied. It's then rendered out and taken into a photo editing software called 'Photoshop' where it's brought together with photographs and digital painting to create the final image.
